Collaborative for Children was selected by the United Nations’ Non-Government Office (NGO) to be granted consultative status for its Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). This achievement allows the Houston nonprofit organization the opportunity to share promising practices for improving early education equity around the globe.

Our President and CEO Dr. Melanie Johnson attended the UN General Assembly, representing our phenomenal work in early childhood education. This year’s Solutions Day was focused on Transformational Education Solutions to remedy learning loss as a result of the pandemic.
The Solutions Day at the Transforming Education Summit provided a platform for partners to mobilize support to launch or scale up initiatives connected to the Summit Thematic Action tracks. Coalitions for action or other multi-stakeholder initiatives were presented in an effort to transform education.

The entire programming staff got together today at The Cockrell Scout Center-Boy Scouts of America facility to focus on delivering quality programming that ensures our youngest citizens are prepared for the rigors of early education and beyond!
