BOOKING REQUIREMENTS

BOOKING REQUIREMENTS

  • Collab-Lab is available for a private 2-hour event in January, February, June, July, and August 2026.  Monday-Friday 10- 3pm or Saturday 10am -6pm for 2 hours.
  • The winner will coordinate their preferred date with Collab-Lab’s Senior Early Childhood Specialist. A 30-day advance notice is required for rescheduling or cancellations.

PARKING & HOA REQUIREMENTS

  • Please arrange designated restroom facilities for the onboard Collab-Lab specialists accompanying the vehicle.  
  • Collab-Lab requires a large, flat, level surface to accommodate the 36-foot-long bus (approximately the length of 8 parking spaces). Please check your neighborhood/HOA restrictions.
  • The parking site must have at least 14 feet of vertical clearance, with no branches or electrical lines.
  • Collab-Lab requires 60 minutes for setup and 60 minutes for breakdown after the scheduled event (total onsite time = 4 hours).
  • The designated parking area should be blocked or coned-off before the bus arrives to avoid delays.
  • The pathway to the parking area must have less than a 10% incline and provide at least 14 feet of clearance for turning.
    • Collab-Lab dimensions: 36.75 ft (length), 8.5 ft (width), 11.83 ft (height), 20.17 ft (wheelbase)

Eligibility

  • Sponsor: This raffle is conducted by Collaborative for Children, a nonprofit organization tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, operating in Texas for over three years.
  • Participants: Open to the organization’s contacts, supporters, and invited guests of the 2025 Building Blocks Luncheon who are legal Texas residents aged 18 or older. Employees and board members of Collaborative for Children are not eligible.

Raffle Details

  • Prize: One (1) Collab-Lab event hosted within the Houston metropolitan area. The event will be customized in collaboration with the winner and must occur by August 31, 2026.
  • Availability: 2-hour event available Monday-Friday 10- 3pm or Saturday 10am -6pm in January, February, June, July, or August 2026.
  • Prize Value: This prize is valued at $139,000.
  • Cash Prizes: Not permitted. No cash or cash-equivalent (e.g., gift cards, checks) will be awarded.

Raffle Sales

  • Raffle Amount: $900 per chance. No limit on entries.
  • Closing: Raffle sales close 11:30 a.m., Friday, September 26, 2025.

Drawing

  • Winner does not need to be present to win
  • Time: 12:00 p.m. (CST), September 26, 2025.
  • Location: Collaborative for Children, 2200 Post Oak Blvd, Suite 1000, Houston, TX 77056.
  • Notification: Winner will be notified by 1:00 p.m. (CST) on September 26, 2025. If the winner cannot be contacted within 5 business days, an alternate winner will be selected.
  • Method: Winner will be selected randomly from all eligible entries. Sales close at 11:30 a.m. (CST) on September 26, 2025.
