We are thrilled to announce The Wiggle Room as the official winner of our 2026 WE HEART STEAM contest! Each year, our Centers of Excellence submit hands-on, imagination-fueled STEAM activities that highlight how young children learn through exploration. This year’s submissions were exceptional, but The Wiggle Room’s project rose above the rest.
Their Collab Kids impressed our review team with a standout combination of innovation, engagement, and creativity. The activity not only showcased strong STEAM learning but also demonstrated how funl discovery can be for young minds.
As this year’s winner, The Wiggle Room will receive:
- 50 passes to Collab Kid U at Rice University
- 50 passes to Dig World, giving children a real-world chance to operate kid-sized construction machinery
- A 30-minute interactive music class, including singing, dancing, and movement, generously provided by the Prelude to Music Foundatio
