School is back and over half of Americans say they had a teacher growing up who changed their life for the better!
According to YouGov, 53% of us say at least one teacher changed our life for the better. Also, 60% of senior citizens say it’s true, and so do 54% of people under 30.
The survey also looked at which grade people were in when their favorite teacher made an impact on them. Most say it did not happen till high school.
33% were in grades 9-12. 13% were in 6th to 8th grade and 16% said they their favorite teachers were somewhere between 5th and kindergarten.
Teachers, no matter what age your students are, know that you are making a positive difference.
