Students Solve Math Problem Unproven for 2,000 Years!
These students have the Collab Kid Spirit!
Two high school students from New Orleans may have solved an unproven two-thousand-year-old math theory. Calcea Johnson and Ne’Kiya Jackson presented at the American Mathematical Society’s annual southeastern conference. They say they’ve proved the Pythagorean Theorem without using circular trigonometry. Calcea and Ne’Kiya thanked their school, St. Mary’s Academy, and their teachers for being able to make history.
Who do they thank for this accomplishment? Their teachers!
