Fall activity-Sensory Bins for Toddlers

This is a fun activity that helps to build nerve connections in the brain, develops motor skills, supports language development and encourages ‘scientific thinking’.

Create an autumn-themed sensory bin filled with small toys, dried leaves, pinecones, dried corn, feathers, beads, etc.  Let your child dig in and make some fabulous discoveries.  Have them name off all the items they find.  Ask them about the colors and describe how they feel.
