Collaborative for Children Selected to United Nations Economic and Social Council.  

Collaborative for Children was selected by the United Nations’ Non-Government Office (NGO) to be granted consultative status for its Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).  This achievement allows the Houston nonprofit organization the opportunity to share promising practices for improving early education equity around the globe.

The Red Door Social Emotional Development Conference.

Teachers and Directors were invited to attend “Behind the Little Red Door-Social Emotional Conference” that was held at the Katy Early Childhood Enrichment Center.

Attendees had the opportunity to learn about becoming a Texas Rising Star certified provider.

In a recent article, Best Startup Texas ranked the top 19 parenting companies in Texas based on track record, executive leadership, market share, innovation and ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) rating.

Dr. Melanie Johnson Meets With United Nations General Assembly to Thrust Education Forward.

Our President and CEO Dr. Melanie Johnson attended the UN General Assembly, representing our phenomenal work in early childhood education. This year’s Solutions Day was focused on Transformational Education Solutions to remedy learning loss as a result of the pandemic.

The Solutions Day at the Transforming Education Summit provided a platform for partners to mobilize support to launch or scale up initiatives connected to the Summit Thematic Action tracks. Coalitions for action or other multi-stakeholder initiatives were presented in an effort to transform education.

The entire programming staff got together today at The Cockrell Scout Center-Boy Scouts of America facility to focus on delivering quality programming that ensures our youngest citizens are prepared for the rigors of early education and beyond!  Our theme this month is Be Fierce!  Unleashing your Workplace Confidence!
