Do you have a young gamer in your house?
A new study says it doesn’t matter how little or how much a kid plays video games; they do not harm their thinking skills. Researchers measured the math and verbal skills of 5th-graders against how many hours they spent gaming. The study’s lead author says it didn’t matter how much they played; the kids didn’t fare worse or better. Even the researchers were surprised! However, the study didn’t look at the social and behavioral impacts of gaming.
