July was a BUSY month at Collaborative for Children! Here’s just a quick snapshot of what we’ve been up to.

We kicked off the month with this amazing news!  Collaborative for Children was selected by Harris County as an Early Childhood Impact Fund grant recipient.  $3.3 million in funding was awarded to strengthen child care centers in communities facing socio-economic disadvantages, ensuring access to quality early education.

Center of Excellence Spotlight:  Houston Kidz Academy

The Center of Excellence model supports childcare providers by helping them nurture the skills in young children through age five that are essential to seize future opportunities. Our early childhood specialists equip child care programs and parents with the knowledge, skills, tools, and strategies necessary to continuously improve business operations, program quality, and child outcomes assessment and monitoring.
