Center of Excellence Spotlight:  Southmore Kiddie Kollege

The Center of Excellence model supports childcare providers by helping them nurture the skills in young children through age five that are essential to seize future opportunities. Our early childhood specialists equip child care programs and parents with the knowledge, skills, tools, and strategies necessary to continuously improve business operations, program quality, and child outcomes assessment and monitoring.

Collab Kids in Space!

NASA – National Aeronautics and Space Administration plans to send astronauts to Mars by 2037. These bright young Collab Kids from one of our amazing Centers of Excellence will be ready for blastoff! Did you know? Families are a child’s first exposure to early learning. Our Parents as Teachers(PAT) program recently held a Group Connection event at Spring Valley Village Park, and these bright Collab Kids got to visit our mobile classroom, the Collab-Lab. What a wonderful day!

So much fun! We visited Houston Kidz Academy with our 21st-century mobile classroom, the Collab-Lab! These Collab Kids were ready to learn, explore and have fun with our hands-on social-emotional and STEAM curriculum.

Shared Services Met with Child Care Owners and Directors!

Our Shared Services group met with child care center owners and directors at The Church of St. John the Divine to help prepare them for the upcoming school year. This was an opportunity to network with other child care centers and engage in interactive business-related training to support growing their business.
