This professional development covers a mix of topics including weather and natural disasters. Through engaging demonstrations and hands-on experiments, teachers will gain fresh ideas about introducing concepts on weather. Participants will engage in activities that demonstrate how to teach about temperature, wind, rain, the water cycle, evaporation, droughts, floods, and a host of other weather related events. Participants will learn how to teach children about the unpredictable forces of nature in gentle, yet captivating ways.
