Understanding children's social and emotional development is crucial to providing responsive interactions and guidance that limit children's disruptive behaviors. Participants will explore how to adjust the environment (schedules, routines, classroom layout, and expectations) and teaching (for example, using small-group instruction) to establish an emotionally-positive classroom. Learn how children's play can enhance self-regulation and address common concerns such as separation anxiety, shyness, and poor impulse control. Join us for an interactive, hands-on session full of practical tips and suggestions for a better tomorrow.
