Discipline, guidance and supervision can be fun in your classroom! It includes teaching children to identify and use appropriate strategies to deal with their feelings and solve problems. It also helps build develop empathy and self-control, and fosters children’s self-esteem. Participants in this session will briefly review the state standards and their application, and talk about positive discipline and guidance strategies. They will not just become informed but also put their knowledge to use in planning their own safe, cooperative and enjoyable learning environments.

Please arrive 5-10 minutes before class. No children allowed.

Training available only to those employed in the following Texas counties: Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Colorado, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Liberty, Matagorda, Montgomery, Walker, Waller and Wharton. Professional development opportunity made possible by Workforce Solutions. 


$18 per registrant for training fee and $12 per registrant for light refreshments and lunch
