The 21st century brings a clearer understanding of the importance of quality early childhood education. Come to this training session and work with other directors to increase knowledge and skills as professionals in this new era of accountability and success for all children. During this training, participants will list the differences between management and instructional leadership; explore skills needed in our rapidly changing world; compare and contrast the required role of the director as defined by the Texas Rising Star Guidelines; review resources that support leadership growth and development; and, engage in self-reflection exercises for personal growth as a 21st century director.
- Participants should arrive 5-10 minutes before class. No children allowed.
