Helping Your Children Cope with Stress and Trauma

Registration is closed for this event
Young children, even babies, know when something bad happens. As children observe the adversity confronting the people they care most about and their daily environments, they may need guidance on how to deal and heal from unrestrained occurrences such as the recent and catastrophic, Hurricane Harvey. It would be nice to shield our children from stressful events and natural disasters, but that is impossible. We can, however, make a difference on how it impacts the learning and development of our children. Come to this session and discover strategies to use in reestablishing security and stability for children who have experienced trauma.
